The Wheatland Township Offices hope to relocating in the not too distant future. Most residents probably have not visited our current location. This office is located in the far northest corner of the Township in an unincorporated industrial park - just north on 91st Street and west of Route 59!

Did you know all the Township's offices are actually housed in a garage truck bay? No wonder, since the building was built in the fall of 1977 and intended for only the Township's Highway Department. This has added additional pressures on all the offices, especially the Assessor's Office.

Illinois State mandates certain records be maintained at the local Assessor's Office. Currently, the Township has over 27,000 parcels located within its' boundaries. Each parcel is monitored and recorded on a Property Record Card which has to be stored on site. It ranks third in Will County for land parcels and is the highest in EAV (Equalized Assessed Value.)

The Wheatland Township Board and the Wheatland Township Highway Commissioner recently entered into a land purchase agreement with the City of Naperville. The future site is located south of 103rd Street and east of Route 59 adjacent to the Naperville Fire Station. The two (2) acre site for the Township Offices will front on 103rd Street and the two (2) acre site for the Township Highway Department will be constructed directly south of the Fire Station.

Construction of the Township's Highway Department facility was completed in 2009.  They moved into their new facility in July of 2009.  Their new address is:  4232 Tower Court, Naperville, IL  60564 - Phone Number (630) 717-0092 with office hours from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Mondays through Fridays.
