Welcome to the new Wheatland Township web site. The Supervisor's Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. When the Supervisor is not in the office, a message can be left on voicemail at (630) 851-3952.

Elected Officials

Wheatland Township's Future Plans:

The Wheatland Township Offices will be relocating in the not too distant future. Most residents probably have not visited our current location. This office is located in the far northest corner of the Township in an unincorporated industrial park - just north of 91st Street and west of Route 59!

Did you know all the Township's offices are actually housed in a garage truck bay? No wonder, since the building was built in the fall of 1977 and intended for only the Township's Highway Department. This has added additional pressures on all the offices, especially the Assessor's Office.

Illinois State mandates certain records be maintained at the local Assessor's Office. Currently, the Township has over 27,000 parcels located within its' boundaries. Each parcel is monitored and recorded on a Property Record Card which has to be stored on site. It ranks third in Will County for land parcels and is the highest in EAV (Equalized Assessed Value.)
