Electronics Recycling Project

In cooperation with Vintage Tech Recyclers, Wheatland Township will begin collecting recyclable electronic equipment for township residents.  All equipment received will be fully processed and recycled with a Zero-Tolerance for landfill policy adopted by the recycling company.

Equipment that can be dropped off includes:  computers, monitors, memory sticks, printer cartridges, laptops and accessories, hard drives, power cables, network equipment, fax machines, photocopiers and cell phones.  If you have any other items of question, please call us to see if they will be accepted.

All items can be dropped off at the Wheatland Township Office located at 31W236 91st Street, Naperville in the Wheatland Industrial Park.  The days and times will be Monday thru Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Battery Recycling Project

Wheatland Township, in association with Interstate Batteries, will begin a program to collect an assortment of batteries to recycle.  This program will be extended to Wheatland Township residents.

The batteries that will be accepted for the program will be:   AAA, AA, B, C, D, 9V, cell phones, cordless drills and car batteries.  If you have any other type of batteries not listed, please call (630) 851-3952 to see if they can be accepted.
